Gary Blanchard & Santa Fe Stoneworks Embellished Models Marketed by Spyderco

Blanchard Engraved "Eagle" and "Lone Wolf" C13 ProVenators
These Pro-Venators, embellished with engraved soft metal overlays by Gary Blanchard, were originally  available directly from  Spyderco and advertised in their early catalogs.

Blanchard Engraved "Flying Eagle" Police

These were also originally  available directly from  Spyderco and advertised in their early catalogs.  They are less common than the ProVenators.  Almost all I have ever seen are the serrated edge version, the plain edged is quite rare.   Oddly,  the example of the serrated version shown here used the relatively uncommon version of the Police with a lanyard hole.

Both models, to show relative sizes.

Santa Fe Stoneworks Earthling
In a departure from their normal choice of materials, the Santa Fe Earthling Police is primarily wood marquetry, with only small amounts of stone.  As with the Blanchards, these were offered for a time directly through the Spyderco catalog.   The Earthling design can still be ordered from Santa Fe and has appeared on models other than the Police, but only the Police was ever offered through the catalog.
