Schodack Island State Park is a New York State Park located on an island in the Hudson River.  Among other features, it offers nature trails, a canoe launch and riverside walkway.  I walked one of the shorter trails, about half a mile long, which leads to the canoe launch.  Not really a lot of green yet, so the scenery looks a bit stark, but I would imagine that later in the year, the foliage becomes so dense that photographs just show a solid wall of green.
